Unless a course is cancelled members are not eligible for a refund of course fees except in exceptional circumstances. Members requesting a refund are required to fill in a “Refund Request” form which then goes to the executive for a decision. Refunds can only be made by bank transfer.
Membership fees are not refundable.

This is a Great Courses video presentation titled "The Nature of Matter (Understanding the Physical World)". The presenter is Professor David W. Ball of Cleveland State University. We will watch two lectures per week and allow 20 minutes for discussion per lecture. PLEASE NOTE: THIS COURSE RUNS FOR 12 WEEKS. Pétanque (or Boules) is French bowls. Beginners are welcome and will be coached. We introduce basic rules. Then we use skills, tactics, luck and good humour to have fun. Occasional training drills are used to improve skills and tactics, and we aim to run one mini-tournament each Term. The Course continues through the holiday break, except for 2-weeks over Christmas.
